Membership Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all members of Evolution Gym: 
1. Membership & Payments 
  • Memberships are billed monthly via Direct Debit. 
  • Payment failures will incur late fees and/or membership suspension. 
2. Cancellation 
  • One month’s written notice is required, via Ashbourne Submit Your Cancellation Here. 
  • Direct Debit must not be cancelled before notice is given. 
3. Gym Access & Conduct 
All members must scan their face/fingerprint upon entry to the gym. This is required every time you visit, even if entering with others. 
  • Guest Policy 
    Non-members are not permitted to use the gym unless they have purchased a valid day pass from reception. 
  • Unauthorised Access 
    Bringing in non-members without a valid day pass is strictly prohibited. 
    If you are found allowing entry to anyone without a pass, your membership will be revoked immediately with no refund. This applies regardless of the circumstances. 
  • Respect for Rules and Facility 
    All members are expected to behave respectfully and follow staff instructions and posted gym rules. Misconduct may result in suspension or cancellation of membership. 
4. Health & Safety 
  • Members use the facilities at their own risk. 
  • Please consult a physician before starting any new fitness routine. 
5. Out-of-Hours Access 
Members must not use the facilities outside of staffed hours unless they: 
  • Have an active access key fob, and 
  • Have signed the required waiver paperwork acknowledging the risks and responsibilities of unstaffed gym use. 
  • Breach of Policy 
    Using the gym without fulfilling these requirements is a serious breach of health and safety regulations and may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership. 
6. Changes to Services 
  • Service Adjustments 
    We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the gym’s services, facilities, class schedules, staffed hours, or equipment at any time. These changes may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, safety requirements, or business needs. 
  • Notice of Changes 
    Where possible, we will provide advance notice of any significant changes via email, social media, or in-gym signage. In some cases, immediate changes may be necessary for health, safety, or legal compliance. 
  • Temporary Closures 
    Temporary full or partial closures may occur for cleaning, repairs, or events. We aim to keep disruptions to a minimum and appreciate your understanding. 
  • No Compensation for Temporary Changes 
    Membership fees remain payable during temporary changes or closures. 
7. Rejoining 
  • Rejoining may require a new sign-up and admin fee.
